Attended the evening musical prayer at Iskcon Temple, Delhi

Friends,

Today we thought to attend the evening musical Aarti (songs sung in praise of the deity – Lord Krishna) at Iskcon Temple (East of Kailash, Delhi). We reached there sharp 6 p.m. and the Aarti also started at 6 p.m. which went for about an hour. Well tuned and learned singer made the eve with new numerous beautiful Hare Rama – Hare Krishna melodies. Singer was singing with 3 accompaniments as percussion, harmonium and some handy support percussion instruments.

This temple is beautifully designed and made to reflect the various shades, dimensions and philosophy of Lord Krishna. It’s quite big in size, well ornamented and there are Restaurant, Book Store, Gallery etc. to watch out.

You will be both entertained and filled with the mystery of the surrounding. One can easily spend 1-2 hours in the temple. It’s an experience to carry out with you if you are visiting Delhi anytime.

Sharing with you some of the the Mobiclicks –
